first of all: thank you so much in advance!! also this will probably be fairly long and rambling but i just want to give you lots to work with and make things easier for you!! i know this is all optional.

as for likes, i much prefer happy fic to angsty fic. i'm not against angst, obviously, but i very much prefer a happy ending, or at very least a hopeful one!! a bit of angst can make that happy ending that much more rewarding, too. i love feel-good fics, domestic aus, slice of life fic, the whole shebang!! it has to be pretty obvious by now that i absolutely adore friendships, so while i've only listed the characters in the pairings or focus of the request, feel free to include others!! i love fics with ensemble casts, that give a character the feeling of having a full, real life. that's very cool!!
for all my fandoms, i've requested that you stick to the canon. i'm okay with canon divergence, but i'd rather not stuff like current day aus or mundane job aus. that being said, i love adventures. romance is wonderful, but i really dig plot heavy things as well. hit me with your personal n7 mission headcanon or poe/finn wishlist adventure. people can kiss AND shoot things. wild!!
as for general relationship dynamics, i'm sure it'll shock you to know that i'm super into friends to lovers!! 'm a total sucker for stuff like bffs who don't realize they're pretty much already dating, or who bicker like a married couple. i'm big on the whole loyalty angle of a lot of these relationships, and i love friendships where two/more people know each other inside and out. i like anything where close friends who have to negotiate a new aspect to their friendship, like kissing or dates or whatever. while i prefer fic that isn't pwp, i don't mind porn, especially if it's like, fun porn?? messy sex, someone comes too fast or knees their partner in the gut or accidentally headbutts them, etc. i like it when everything doesn't go perfectly/as expected!! i also don't believe in one character being the 'top' or 'bottom' of the relationship.
MASS EFFECT
man i just. love shepard/garrus. there's just something about their dynamic that really does it for me. maybe it's how when she died, he literally just like. went off the rails and tried to commit death by mercenary. maybe it's how he doesn't hesitate to trust her, no matter the cerberus colours she's wearing, and what that means to her. maybe it's how her actions can influence his, and the support he provides in me3. BATTLE COUPLE OTP. i'd love to see them faking marriage for a spectre mission and then realizing that oh hey, maybe this is a thing we want to do?? or garrus researching human proposal traditions like shepard is in any way traditional. so good.
shepard/tali is the real f/f pairing we should have had. tali's always admired shepard, but i appreciate how balanced their relationship is?? like tali absolutely looks to shepard for some direction, but tali has always been feisty and independent. she's the one who found information and was determined to bring it to the council's attention, despite everything she faced. she's the one who returned to the quarians and leapt directly into trouble to provide them with info and resources. and she's the one who became an admiral at such a young age. i'd love to see the political angle worked here, and maybe a look at the difference in customs.
if you want to approach the ot3, i'd actually really love it if you came at it from the angle of garrus/tali already being together and how the three of them work to add shepard to the equation. otherwise, it'd be interesting to look at how all three of them stay united during the rebuilding of the galaxy with no comm buoys.
STAR WARS SEQUEL TRILOGY
yo i just love how soft these two are with each other!! i basically just want soft pining fic, my dude, and if it happens from an accidental marriage or after they're together and they're both figuring out how to propose or whatever, i'm really just super into these two people who've Been Through Some Shit getting a happy ending. also: i fuckin love rey (but not so much...kylo...) so feel free to make her their platonic 3rd wheel, because she's great. also please just no emphasis on their age difference or how innocent finn is, it's not my fav dynamic.
DRAGON AGE
hawke and varric is just such a good ship. varric loves her so much!! he lied through his teeth under threat of violence from cassandra just to keep her safe!! i love their dynamic, esp with a purple hawke, and they're just such a perfect example of the best friends > lovers dynamic that i adore
alistair/zevran is the rarepair of my dreams, honestly. i love the way the two of them play off each other, but mostly i love the idea of how soft zevran can be with the people he cares about, and how alistair would thrive under a source of warm affection. i know that realistically, it's a hard pairing to maneuver no matter the canon choices (i tend to favour king alistair, which would make a wedding to an assassin rather scandalous), but i really do love a happy ending, so fuck it!! let's suspend all disbelief!!
cassandra/varric is great for the way the two of them play off of each other. i do like how they move past the distrust in canon, and let's be real: varric would be GREAT at wooing. it'd be neat to see something happen as a political maneuver, to save cassandra from being bartered off as a pentaghast, or as an easy escape for varric from the societal pressure he's got as viscount, and how the close quarters push them to understand each other.
FENRIS DESERVES A HAPPY ENDING!! i do prefer a friendmance, because i am a marshmallow, but as long as i get a happy ending, i am happy too. i love fenris' singleminded intensity, and the way that works with hawke's easy affection, so foreign to him. if you want to rewrite canon so that their reunion in act 3 is less easy and more realistic, feel free. i'd also be interested in the two of them post-da2, especially if it addresses a secret marriage and fenris figuring out what to do now that he's not driven by rage and vengeance and gets to have nice things. PLEASE NOTE: not an anders fan. no implications of fenris/anders AT ALL s'il vous plait
FALLOUT 4
i am team railroad all the way, and i just love deacon soooooo much. i think he's just such an interesting character, someone who is at heart a good person, but also an unrepentant liar. i'd love to see an exploration of how he and the ss try to fit themselves together while also working around her grief and his obvious commitment issues.
as for glory, i think she's just such a cool character!! she's so confident and ready to jump into a fight and it seems so different from a lot of the synth characters that you encounter. i'd really love to see something with the two of them established and how they work together, considering their shared history and the conflict that provides (ie father and the institute).
