i think the way that bang felt is a way that all of us have felt before, like if you just disappeared people would keep going and maybe you're not nearly as important as you'd like to think you are and that's sad. luckily for him he was only half a ghost!!

himchan is very stubborn!! he's good at accepting a minor role in order to let someone else shine and i think he'd definitely step back in order to let bang go, but bang wouldn't let him. obviously!! i'm glad you liked the ending!!
