jongin, in general, is a pretty clueless little bro, and he would take most things at face value. those little touches were so the reader knew what was happening even if he didn't!! also chanyeol always surprises me with how charming he is, he's shadow leader for a reason!!

it is not a particularly popular pairing, definitely, but if you're looking for more you should check out these three fics (all vastly superior). thesockmonster just wrote one too, i think!!
