i love slice-of-life???? which is why i read a billion ~normal~ high school shoujo manga romances and this somehow feels like slice-of-life despite the actually real and strange idol lifestyle and the, er, werewolf thing. just, all the emotions feel very real given the circumstances, like jackson's fears surrounding his presumably unrequited or even requited feelings towards jaebum -- that anxiety that maybe the depth of your feelings/investment into a relationship isn't being matched?? ;~~~~; and while it made my heart ache during the wait, i loved how careful jaebum was in trying to sort out his feelings and the consequences of starting any kind of romantic relationship with jackson at this point because the emotional payoff was so worth it.
also, the hints at werewolf ~culture~ and hyeri were so-- rolls around in glee~
((i am kind of curious about why jackson got turned & who bit him but i feel like that line of thinking would lead to a very different kind of story -- which i would also totally read from you, i love mysteries -- but this in itself is a lovely exploration of jackson's character and his dynamic with jaebum, sends you air hearts <3 <3 <3))
