it wasn't that it took until joonmyun nearly died for kris to kiss him, it was more like the two of them were both too practical to let anything serious really develop in the middle of all of that. it would only distract them from the task at hand. so after everything went down, they won, no one died, hurrah!! then kris let himself kiss joonmyun, bc he could. does that make sense?
