wow, this hurt my heart to read because it is so them. chanyeol is such an emotionally honest person, he can't even help it, and jongin just can't afford to be like that? it's like they're both oblivious in different ways. i loved how you painted chanyeol as sensitive without being a crybaby (how it hurts when jongin flinches away, that push and pull of being so into someone who just can't return some of those feelings, when baekhyun is upset with him for lying about how he's feeling) and how jongin isn't the villain - they're just too different. i was glad that chanyeol actually did the hard thing and looked out for himself and didn't let himself get too invested, because in the end it wouldn't have been worth it. which is sad. :(
